The Weekenders: VR

Anyone who is familiar with this show will probably recognize what inspired each of these "personas" for the four main characters.

Basically, as the four friends grew up, they went their separate ways in life. However, their favorite way of keeping in touch is by interacting in a recently developed online RPG where they can take on these more interesting personas for themselves (i.e. It's the future and online RPGs are much more realistic). Thus, they can continue to spend weekends together, despite their separation.
