Sigma's Face

Description

EDIT: I darkened the shading in places to increase contrast.

Say Hello to Lexicon's little brother. His name is Sigma.

Lexicon is this guy. [link]

Although they both look rather mean, Lexicon is technically the good guy, while Sigma here is the bad guy. Ironically though, Sigma has an attitude that is much lighter and happier than Lexicon. But then, he is younger and more full of exuberance.

More on these guys later. I am trying to come up with two new designs for DAcademy. :)

This is pretty good. I love how clean the lines are in this image.

In my art classes, we were always taught to work well with values (your darks and lights/shading and highlights). There are some areas here that could use a little more work with values. From what I can see, it seems like your light source is coming from the left, so I would add more shading to the back of the head, and I would make some of the shadows darker at the point where the light is completely blocked, and then let it progressively get darker as it reaches a place where the light can hit it.

Textures can also be taken into effect here. From reading your AC, you say this character is supposed to be the "bad guy," right? Does that mean he would get into lots of battles or gets scratches and scars? If so, I would add little patches where the armor may have been hit my weapons or something. Things like that always build character to a character's design and makes it fun for the viewer to let their eyes wander around the image to get a good look at everything. It shows a bit of a background story.

I really like this! It looks pretty cool.
