Well, I'm FINALLY back with a new deviation. I'm still very much experimenting with the tablet; figuring out the things I can do. It certainly makes the job go faster. But it's clear I still have a LOT to learn about getting water and clouds to look right and how to achieve decent textures -_-;. All in all though, I'm reasonably satisfied with the background and the characters.

Anyway, I did this one as my entry for 's contest. The terms of the contest were to draw your favorite anime character interacting somehow with one of your own original characters. It seemed like an interesting idea, so I ran with it. ^^

Basically, Ishida (from the popular Bleach series) happens upon a body of water, where he thinks he sees some sort of fearsome creature. Reacting instinctively, he moves to activate his Quincy bow, but when he looks back at the spot in the water where he saw the strange serpentine creature, suddenly he sees a mysterious girl instead (my o.c., Yuradell). False alarm? Were his eyes deceiving him?

I really have to do a decent character sheet sometime.
